API reference / Common / Engine types / TableCustomXmlRow

Interface: TableCustomXmlRow

A row-level custom XML element (docx w:customXml, CT_CustomXmlRow) — a container wrapping consecutive rows, with the element's own name and attributes.

TableControlRow's twin, sibling to it in EG_ContentRowContent and holding the same content. Like it, its extent is its rows and nothing else: where a text-level wrapper marks the characters it covers, there are no characters here — a table is one U+FFFC in its parent story, and rows are structure, not content.

It carries no id of its own, for the reason the control doesn't: a TableRowId is a grid axis coordinate, and this is not an axis.

Placeholder — the level is modelled, but nothing imports, exports or lays one out yet.

Properties

PropertyDescription
customXml
CustomXml
w:customXml's uri / element and w:customXmlPr — what the element is. The same type all four levels carry, the schema's being level-independent.
rows?
TableRow[]
The rows it wraps, which stay in the table's own grid: each keeps its TableRowId, so (row, column) addresses a cell through it unchanged.
